Best Dried Shrimp

I walked into the Punahele Jerky Store in Hilo and found it to be a very clean and friendly store. I got the dried shrimp and it was “ta die for.” So, yummy with flavor and dried just right. Tasty and easy to eat. My second favorite was the spicy beef crisp. Of course, I have always liked the Ahi Jerky. So good! I would definitely go back again.

in no particular order... the size of each shrimp was large compared to other companies'. the shrimp was very tasty - moist. we are happy to support products of the USA. containing no MSG is always a plus - we are allergic to it. happy to support hawaii companies.

Local Ono Pupus

I continue to be amazed at the delicious taste of Punahele's products! Their dried shrimp is so ono! It's a perfect blend that makes for a great appetizer or snack. I also love the smoked taco. Same quality and delicious! You won't be disappointed.

Loved the O'pai. I cook with it, use with tomato and onion with poi. O' no!

Choice on how many bags

Hi,
The shrimp is good but I have to admit when I first saw how many bags I had to order, it kinda shocked me. I thought I could order one bag vs 4 as I just wanted to try it out before buying more. Thank you for asking for feedback. Happy New Year and keep safe!

Best Dried Shrimp
