Our Punahele smoked Tako is made from premium wild-caught octopus, seasoned with Maui onion and garlic. Perfect as a snack or pupu (appetizer) with your favorite cold beverage! Made with Aloha on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. 

Contains 12 bags

For best flavor, keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days of opening. Packet enclosed to keep the product fresh; do not eat packet.

Octopus, salt, sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, sodium D isoascorbate, sodium sulfite, sugar, garlic powder, Maui onion powder, liquid smoke (water, natural hickory smoke flavor).

My wife.tried it and she Saif it's great.not salty and. Very tasty and goes.great with the dried shrimp product too! Will keep buying.

Smoked Tako Pupu

Very tasty. A great snake or pupu. Package of 12 seemed excessive to purchase but it's so delicious and packaging is air tight so it should have a good shelf life. I noticed some of the tako smoked I tougher than others. But still tasty! Just have to chew more.

We like the product but it’s so difficult to get

I ordered on June 8th for my dads Father’s Day gift since it’s so difficult to get at any of the locations here. It’s always sold out and when they do have it it’s very little supply. You have to order an entire case but I didn’t mind since it was for my dad. We didn’t end up getting it until June 27 way after Father’s there was a mix up about our physical address although the transaction went through with out any trouble. My card was charged the entire amount but never shipped. A little over a week later an email was sent to notify me nothing was shipped because they can’t send to a P.O. Box. I replied to confirm our physical address. A week went by and I still didn’t get a tracking number? I called the office to find out the girl hadn’t checked her email so nothing was sent out. She said we could pick it up if we wanted since it was already Friday afternoon and it now wouldn’t be shipped till the following week. We confirmed the pick up location my mom took off work to go grab it and was given the run around by the front office person who was there. She was very rude/sassy and unprofessional according to my mom They would not listen to her when she told them we were told to go and pick it up there and they insisted she go to the warehouse location. She went and was sent away since they do not handle your Punahele packages. My mother never got our package and had to return to work as her lunch break was now wasted and she had to go into a meeting. I called the office to ask what happened and was told they were sorry and would just ship the package. My dad loves your smoked tako and I always go get it for him when ever we see it in stock anywhere. Update your website and retrain your staff and I’m sure you’ll keep getting more business. I’m not a fan of the service we were provided but since the girl who shipped my package was very nice and sincerely apologized for the complete mess including for the rude staff member you had up front that day I’m sure I will give it another chance since my dad loves your product so much. With out this stressful experience the product itself is a complete 5 star product.

Smoked Tako is Very Tasty with nice balance of moistness and chewiness!

I like smoked Tako so I took a deep dive into this product! The tako is very tasty, fresh and with a delicate balance of moisture and firmness. Any pieces that might be too hard to chew for delicate teeth can be easily softened by microwaving a mug of water to boil, then toss in the smoked tako, and let soften to taste. Simple!
